Confession: I am not tan. I am pale. I will never ever be tan. Even when I lived in Texas, the closest I ever came to tan was speckled. So since my skin and I will never get the bronze, I have embraced my complexion and become a rather dedicated sunscreen junkie. My favorite everyday sunscreen is Kiehl's Ultra Facial Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15; it feels light and evens my skin tone at the same time. However, I also have recently been introduced to Australian favorite Invisible Zinc which has just been brought to the US. Invisible Zinc, unlike other sunscreens, doesn't diffuse rays but actually physically blocks them from the skin. A pale girl's dream, I can't wait to try it out. Suck on that UV rays.
